- Not recommended for Detroit Diesel tuning: DLA3, Scanmatik, Jaltest — due to unstable communication with the truck

Description
Stock programming for MBE, DD13, DD15, and DD16 engines is available remotely via TeamViewer — no need to visit a shop.
A single ECU is programmed within one service.
The entire reprogramming session is performed directly through your laptop connected to the truck, and the process typically takes no more than 30 minutes from start to finish. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on the results of our work.
To get started, select your preferred date and time for the remote appointment and provide any additional required truck information.

Applicability
The service applies to Detroit Diesel stock programming.
We can program the following ECUs: MCM, CPC, ACM, and others.
The ECU must be compatible with the truck’s VIN.
When is the service needed?
If you have replaced the ECU, want to remove third-party tuning and return the truck to factory settings, have dealer software access but no permission to download ECU files, or have no dealer access at all but still need ECU reprogramming — this service is the right solution for you.
Legal framework usage of this service
This is ECM tuning (adjustment) service. The result of this service is improvement the performance characteristics of customer’s equipment.
The service may require additional hardware and/or software tools on the Customer side. See “Equipment requirements” section for the details.
Terms and conditions are determined in the Public Offer Agreement. Full agreement text is located in the Agreement section of this website.
The ECM tuning may cause emission class change. Customer takes full responsibility of technical inspections and certification of his equipment regardless of his jurisdiction and local emissions regulations. DrunkLab LLC will not accept complaints due to certification incompatibilities.

The main goal of the Detroit Diesel Stock Programming service is to restore or update the ECM with a stock software.

Additional Information
In simple terms, it’s bringing the ECU back to its original factory state. It removes any old tuning, incorrect files, or software issues and returns the engine to how it was designed to run from the factory.
In practice, it's pretty common for trucks to end up with incomplete flashes, corrupted files, or leftover data from previous tuning attempts. When that happens, you might see random fault codes or unstable performance. The same applies when installing a replacement ECU — whether it's a used unit pulled from another truck or a brand new one — it often needs to be properly flashed with the correct factory file for your specific engine before it will run reliably.
Restoring the stock file usually solves those problems. We reinstall the correct factory software, clear out anything that shouldn’t be there, and bring all parameters back in line with OEM specs. After that, the engine runs the way it was originally intended — no surprises.
