Description

Remote DPF/EGR/DEF delete reprogramming service for DD13, DD15, and DD16 engines is available remotely via TeamViewer. The entire reprogramming session is performed directly through your laptop connected to the truck, and the process typically takes no more than 30 minutes from start to finish. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on the results of our work. No more derate issues.

To get started, select your preferred date and time for the remote appointment and provide any additional required truck information.

Important Notice

Complete deletion of the DPF/EGR/SCR systems is available on trucks with manual transmissions only.

For trucks with automatic transmissions, only the DPF/SCR delete options will be applied.

The EGR delete option is not provided on trucks with automatic transmissions due to incorrect gearshifting.

When is the service needed?

If the cost of fixing your truck's emission systems is getting too expensive, this tuning service may be the solution. A derate, loss of power, poor fuel economy and costly downtime that keeps your truck off the road can be caused by a clogged DPF filter, a failing SCR system or a stuck EGR valve.

Our tuning service solves these problems by deleting DPF, SCR and EGR professionally through ECU software reprogramming. This helps eliminate some of the most common emissions related failures and lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emissions equipment. And if you'd rather get ahead of the problem before it starts — this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you never have to deal with the repair bills in the first place.

Required hardware changes after tuning

Failure to complete these steps may result in fault codes, reduced performance, or engine damage.

  • DPF/EGR/DEF system sensors must be unplugged
  • Physically block the EGR flow (install block-off plates or equivalent)
  • The ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module) must remain connected
  • The DEF pump must be electrically disconnected
  • Physically remove the DPF (remove the filter entirely from the exhaust system)

Strongly recommended (for best reliability and performance):

  • Bypass or completely remove the SCR cans


IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • We delete EGR on vehicles with automatic transmission only at the customer's request, because the EGR system must remain operational to avoid incorrect gear shifting. In this case, you don't need to unplug EGR sensors and block the EGR flow.

Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.

Warranty cases are:

  • DPF/EGR/SCR — related fault code appears during truck usage period
  • DPF/EGR/SCR — related message is shown on the display
  • Torque derate caused by DPF/EGR/SCR fault codes

Non — warranty cases are:

  • ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than those stored into database during reprogramming)
  • Software update campaign performed (OEM software detected)
  • Copyright violation — tampering, cracking, or readout attempts detected (different fingerprint stored in the ECU)

Additional Information

It’s a software modification in the ECU that shuts off the main emissions systems — DEF (SCR), DPF, and EGR. Simply put, it removes the systems that tend to cause the most headaches once the truck starts piling on miles.

This service is for newer Detroit Diesel engines (roughly 2016–2021) that came with the full emissions package. It’s a remote ECU reprogramming that targets the biggest reliability problems these engines develop over time.

On paper, these systems are supposed to clean up emissions. In real life, after some years and mileage, they often turn into a constant source of trouble: the DPF clogs up, the EGR system gets packed with soot, the DEF system throws sensor and dosing errors, and eventually you start getting derates and forced downtime.

After the delete, the ECU no longer controls or monitors those systems. That means no more forced regens, no DEF warnings, and no emissions-related power derates. The engine runs much simpler and more predictably.
