Description
Professional DPF/EGR/SCR delete tuning for Cummins-powered Komatsu equipment is available remotely via TeamViewer. The entire reprogramming session is performed directly through your laptop connected to the machine, and the process typically takes no more than 25 minutes from start to finish. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on the results of our work. No more torque reduction issues.
To get started, select your preferred date and time for the remote appointment and provide any additional required information about your machine.

Applicability
This remote tuning service is designed for Komatsu equipped with a Cummins engine requiring delete of emission control systems (DEF/DPF/EGR).
When is the service needed?
If repairing your machine’s emissions systems is getting too expensive, this tuning service may be the solution. Derating, loss of power, poor fuel economy, and costly downtime that keeps your machine out of service can be caused by a clogged DPF, a failing DEF system, or a stuck EGR valve.
Our tuning service solves these problems by professionally deleting the DPF, DEF, and EGR systems through ECU reprogramming. This helps eliminate some of the most common emissions-related failures and lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emissions equipment. And if you’d rather get ahead of the problem before it starts, this service is for you, too. Deleting these systems before they fail means you never have to deal with those repair bills in the first place.
Once tuned, your machine can run without constant regeneration issues, DEF system faults, repeated sensor failures, or loss of performance caused by soot buildup and exhaust restrictions. This results in a more dependable machine with less downtime and fewer disruptions.
Legal framework usage of this service
This is ECM tuning (adjustment) service. The result of this service is improvement the performance characteristics of customer’s equipment.
The service may require additional hardware and/or software tools on the Customer side. See “Equipment requirements” section for the details.
Terms and conditions are determined in the Public Offer Agreement. Full agreement text is located in the Agreement section of this website.
The ECM tuning may cause emission class change. Customer takes full responsibility of technical inspections and certification of his equipment regardless of his jurisdiction and local emissions regulations. DrunkLab LLC will not accept complaints due to certification incompatibilities.

Guides & Instructions
Tuning results
- No DPF/DEF/EGR/NOx — related fault codes
- No torque reduction
- FREE HP upgrade to the maximum manufacturer setting for this CPL (Critical Parts List) and the vehicle specification
- No unrelated parameters will be changed
Required hardware changes after tuning
Failure to complete these steps may result in fault codes, reduced performance, or engine damage.
- Unplug all DPF/DEF/EGR system sensors
- Physically block the EGR flow (install block-off plates or equivalent)
- Physically remove the DPF (remove the filter entirely from the exhaust system)
Strongly recommended (for best reliability and performance):
- Bypass or completely remove the DEF cans
Warranty Terms and Conditions
This service is covered by the D3LW™ Program — DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.
Warranty cases are:
- DPF/DEF/EGR — related fault code appears during machine usage period
- DPF/DEF/EGR — related message is shown on the display
- Torque derate caused by DPF/DEF/EGR fault codes
Non — warranty cases are:
- ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than those stored into database during reprogramming)
- Software update campaign performed (OEM software detected)
- Copyright violation — tampering, cracking, or readout attempts detected (different fingerprint stored in the ECU)

Additional Information
It is a remote service that disables the engine’s emissions control functions. These include the SCR system, which uses DEF, the DPF (diesel particulate filter) and the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system.
Cummins engines are used in construction and mining equipment as well as generator sets. Emissions equipment adds extra cost to machines that are already expensive to own and maintain.
Unfortunately, these systems can also cause problems such as clogged DPFs, DEF quality warnings and failed NOx sensors. Emissions-related faults can cause the machine to lose power or go into a derate. In some cases, they can trigger a shutdown.
Keeping up with these repairs can get expensive.
We modify the ECU software to disable the relevant emissions controls.
Some of the main advantages are:
- No more DEF warnings or DPF regeneration cycles
- Fewer emissions-related fault codes
- Improved engine performance
When we say “modify,” we don’t mean simply installing a premade tune. Each calibration is tailored to your engine and ECU. Along with changing the emissions control settings, we adjust other control systems as needed to keep the engine running safely and reliably.
If you also want performance tuning, such as an increase in power output, we can add it at your request.
Key Benefits:
- Removes DEF (SCR), DPF, and EGR control logic (tailored to your setup)
- Completely eliminates forced regens and the downtime that comes with them
- Cuts out emissions-related fault codes and sensor failures
- Stops unexpected derates and shutdown warnings
- Makes continuous industrial operation significantly more stable
- Takes unnecessary stress off the engine control system
- Performance tuning is available if you need a boost
