Description

Professional DPF/EGR/VGT delete tuning for Cummins ISX CM871/CM870 models is available remotely via TeamViewer. The entire reprogramming session is performed directly through your laptop connected to the truck, and the process typically takes no more than 25 minutes from start to finish. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on the results of our work. No more torque reduction issues.

To get started, select your preferred date and time for the remote appointment and provide any additional required truck information.

Applicability

This remote tuning service is designed for Cummins ISX engines equipped with CM870 and CM871 ECM platforms requiring delete of emission control systems (DPF/EGR/VGT).

When is the service needed?

If the cost of fixing your truck's emission systems or broken turbo parts is getting too expensive, this tuning service may be the solution. A derate, loss of power, poor fuel economy and costly downtime that keeps your truck off the road can be caused by a stuck EGR valve, clogged DPF filter or a failing VGT turbo.

Our tuning service solves these problems by deleting EGR, DPF and VGT professionally by ECU software reprogramming. This helps eliminate some of the most common emissions related failures and lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emissions equipment. And if you'd rather get ahead of the problem before it starts — this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you never have to deal with the repair bills in the first place.

Once tuned, your truck can run without constant regeneration issues, repeated sensor failures, turbo efficiency problems or loss of performance from soot build-up and excess exhaust heat. This results in a more dependable truck with less downtime and less disruption.

Guides & Instructions

Tuning results

  • No DPF/EGR/VGT — related fault codes
  • No torque reduction
  • FREE HP upgrade to the maximum manufacturer setting for this CPL (Critical Parts List) and the vehicle specification

Required hardware changes after tuning

Failure to complete these steps may result in fault codes, reduced performance, or engine damage.

  • Unplug all DPF/EGR system sensors
  • Physically block the EGR flow (install block-off plates or equivalent)
  • Physically remove the DPF (remove the filter entirely from the exhaust system)
  • Replace the VGT turbocharger with a single (non-VGT) turbocharger

Warranty Terms and Conditions

This service is covered by the D3LW™ Program — DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.

Warranty cases are:

  • DPF/EGR/VGT — related fault code appears during truck usage period
  • DPF/EGR/VGT — related message is shown on the display
  • Torque derate caused by DPF/EGR/VGT fault codes

Non — warranty cases are:

  • ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than those stored into database during reprogramming)
  • Software update campaign performed (OEM software detected)
  • Copyright violation — tampering, cracking, or readout attempts detected (different fingerprint stored in the ECU)

Company advantages

  • Industry expertise: Extensive hands — on experience Cummins ECM tuning, delivering stable, accurate, and safe solutions.

  • Client-oriented approach: Clear legal terms, transparent communication, and long-term warranty coverage for added confidence.

Additional Information

It’s a remote ECU reprogramming that turns off the emissions systems on Cummins ISX engines — things like EGR, DPF, and VGT control, depending on how your truck is set up. Put simply, it gets rid of constant regenerations, emissions-related faults, and derate triggers so the engine can run in a more stable and predictable way.

This kind of work is pretty common on CM870 and CM871 engines. On these platforms, the emissions systems are deeply tied into how the engine operates. The problem is, as the miles add up, those same systems often become the main source of trouble — clogged DPF filters, nonstop regens, failing EGR components, and VGT actuator issues that mess with boost and overall performance.

Instead of chasing the same problems over and over, the ECU is retuned so the engine no longer relies on those systems.

Once that’s done, the engine stops reacting to emissions-related inputs altogether. In day-to-day use, that usually means:

  • no more forced regenerations
  • no emissions-related derates
  • far fewer warning lights and fault codes

Overall, the truck just feels more consistent. Power delivery is smoother under load, and it’s much less likely to drop into protection mode out of nowhere. You’ll notice it most on long hauls or when the truck is working hard.

Key Benefits:

  • Full Cummins ISX delete (EGR, DPF, VGT depending on setup)
  • No more forced DPF regeneration cycles
  • Less carbon buildup and fewer EGR-related failures
  • Fewer turbo actuator and boost control issues
  • Helps avoid limp mode and unexpected derates
  • More stable, predictable performance under load
  • Performance tuning available
