Applicability

This remote tuning service is designed for Cummins industrial engines including QSF, QSB, QSD, QSL, and QSX series equipped with electronic ECM platforms requiring delete of emission control systems (DEF/DPF/EGR).

When is the service needed?

If the cost of fixing your truck's emission systems is getting too expensive, this tuning service may be the solution. A derate, loss of power, poor fuel economy and costly downtime that keeps your truck off the road can be caused by a clogged DPF filter, a failing DEF system or a stuck EGR valve.

Our tuning service solves these problems by deleting DPF, DEF and EGR professionally through ECU software reprogramming. This helps eliminate some of the most common emissions related failures and lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emissions equipment. And if you'd rather get ahead of the problem before it starts — this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you never have to deal with the repair bills in the first place.

Once tuned, your truck can run without constant regeneration issues, DEF fluid faults, repeated sensor failures or loss of performance from soot build-up and exhaust restrictions. This results in a more dependable truck with less downtime and less disruption.

Guides & Instructions

Tuning results

  • No DPF/DEF/EGR/NOx — related fault codes
  • No torque reduction
  • FREE HP upgrade to the maximum manufacturer setting for this CPL (Critical Parts List) and the vehicle specification
  • No unrelated parameters will be changed

Required hardware changes after tuning

Failure to complete these steps may result in fault codes, reduced performance, or engine damage.

  • Unplug all DPF/DEF/EGR system sensors
  • Physically block the EGR flow (install block-off plates or equivalent)
  • Physically remove the DPF (remove the filter entirely from the exhaust system)

Strongly recommended (for best reliability and performance):

  • Bypass or completely remove the DEF cans

Warranty Terms and Conditions

This service is covered by the D3LW™ Program — DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.

Warranty cases are:

  • DPF/DEF/EGR — related fault code appears during truck usage period
  • DPF/DEF/EGR — related message is shown on the display
  • Torque derate caused by DPF/DEF/EGR fault codes

Non — warranty cases are:

  • ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than those stored into database during reprogramming)
  • Software update campaign performed (OEM software detected)
  • Copyright violation — tampering, cracking, or readout attempts detected (different fingerprint stored in the ECU)

Company advantages

  • Industry expertise: Extensive hands — on experience Cummins ECM tuning, delivering stable, accurate, and safe solutions.
  • Quick remote service: Fast remote tuning sessions through TeamViewer with flexible weekday scheduling, short turnaround times, and complimentary HP updates.

  • Client-oriented approach: Clear legal terms, transparent communication, and long-term warranty coverage for added confidence.

Additional Information

Essentially, it’s a remote ECU recalibration service for Cummins industrial engines (like the QSF, QSB, QSD, QSL, and QSX). We go into the engine's computer and turn off the control logic for emissions systems like the DEF (SCR), DPF, and EGR.

Simply put, we reprogram the engine so it stops relying on the emissions components that are notorious for causing downtime and headaches out in the field.

You’ll find these Cummins engines running everything from construction gear and mining machinery to generators and marine equipment. They are built like tanks, but as they rack up the hours, the emissions systems often become the weakest link. Instead of keeping you compliant, they just end up killing your productivity.

If you run these machines, you probably already know the usual suspects: clogged DPF filters, annoying DEF quality errors, dead NOx sensors, EGRs choked with carbon, and those dreaded unexpected derates or shutdown warnings. When your equipment needs to run around the clock, even minor hiccups cost serious money.

We tackle these issues straight from the source—the ECU. Instead of the engine constantly panicking over emissions sensor signals, we recalibrate it to run in a simplified, rock-solid configuration.

What does this actually look like on the job?

  • No more forced regeneration cycles
  • An end to DEF warnings and sudden shutdown events
  • A massive drop in random fault codes and diagnostic headaches

Most operators tell us their equipment just feels more reliable under load. The power delivery is steadier, and you no longer have to worry about the machine randomly dropping performance because a sensor got tripped.

Also, we don't use generic, off-the-shelf tunes. Every calibration is custom-built for your specific engine family and ECU type. We adjust exactly what's needed for your setup to keep everything running safely and smoothly once the emissions logic is out of the picture. Performance tuning can be added.

Key Benefits:

  • Removes DEF (SCR), DPF, and EGR control logic (tailored to your setup)
  • Completely eliminates forced regens and the downtime that comes with them
  • Cuts out emissions-related fault codes and sensor failures
  • Stops unexpected derates and shutdown warnings
  • Makes continuous industrial operation significantly more stable
  • Takes unnecessary stress off the engine control system
  • Performance tuning is available if you need a boost

Booked first appointment of the day after confirming that I had the right options picked out through the 24 hour support line.
Technicians let me know they would be available 30 min before my appointment time which actually worked better for me. Hooked up and was done in less than 30 minutes!
Equipment no longer has nuisance codes. Running great.
