Description
Professional Volvo Construction Equipment DPF and EGR delete tuning service for vehicles manufactured from 2010 to 2013 is available through the Mochester App. Equipment requirements are very simple. The entire programming process is performed remotely using your communication adapter and laptop. The process is fast, safe, and typically completed in 20 minutes or less. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on our work.
To begin, simply install the Mochester App, connect your communication adapter to the machine, and follow the step-by-step instructions.
Applicability
Volvo Construction Equipment machines equipped with supported pre-2014 Volvo D-series engines and factory DPF/EGR emission systems. Applicable to excavators, wheel loaders, articulated haulers, motor graders, and other Volvo CE equipment using supported engine control units.
When is the service needed?
If the cost of repairing machine’s emission systems is getting too expensive, our remote tuning service may be the perfect solution.
Loss of power, poor fuel economy, and costly downtime are often caused by a clogged DPF filter or a failing EGR system.
Our remote tuning service solves these problems by professionally deleting the DPF and EGR systems through ECU software reprogramming. This eliminates some of the most common emissions-related failures and significantly lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emission equipment.
And if you’d rather get ahead of the problem before it starts, this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you’ll never have to deal with those expensive repair bills in the first place. Once tuned, your machine will run without EGR-related faults, DPF restrictions, or performance drops caused by soot buildup and exhaust blockage. The result is a more reliable machine, lower operating costs, and maximum uptime when your equipment is needed most.
Legal framework usage of this service

Guides & Instructions
Tuning results
- No DPF/EGR — related fault codes
- No torque derates
- No warning lamps on the dashboard
Required hardware changes after tuning
ATTENTION! After applying our DPF/EGR delete service:
- The EGR valve should be unplugged and the flow should be blocked
- ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module) and NOx sensor should remain unplugged all the time! Plugging them back in will cause a “soot level high” message and immediate engine derate!
- The DPF should be removed physically
- We also strongly recommend bypassing the SCR cans or removing them
Warranty Terms and Conditions
This product is covered by D3LW™ program. D3LW is DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.
Warranty cases are:
- Configuration errors
- ECM memory — related fault codes appear after flashing
- Aftertreatment system fault codes (not including instrument cluster reagent level code)
Non — warranty cases are:
- ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than stored into database during reprogramming)
- Software update campaign performed (different software detected)
- ACM connection after programming
- Cracking/readout attempts detected (different fingerprint is stored into ECU)

Additional Information
It’s a remote ECU recalibration that turns off the DPF (diesel particulate filter) and EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) systems. Simply put, the engine is set up to run without regeneration cycles or EGR messing with the air-fuel mixture.
This tuning service is made for older Volvo construction machines that are starting to give headaches with their emissions systems. On 2010–2013 models, the DPF and EGR are usually the first things to cause trouble once the hours start adding up.
In real job site conditions, these systems often don’t hold up well. DPF filters clog more easily — especially with lots of idling or short cycles — and EGR valves get coated in carbon buildup, which restricts airflow and hurts performance. Over time you end up with warning lights, loss of power, and more downtime than anyone wants.
Instead of constantly cleaning parts or replacing expensive components, we recalibrate the ECU so the engine no longer needs or reacts to the DPF and EGR. After the update, the machine stops doing forced regens and ignores EGR-related faults.
The result is much more stable and predictable operation. The equipment runs smoother under load, without the random interruptions that emissions systems love to cause — especially on machines that work long days in tough conditions.
Key Benefits:
- Removes DPF and EGR control on Volvo CE 2010–2013 machines, depending on how your setup is configured
- No more forced regen cycles cutting into your work time
- Helps cut down on carbon buildup and the airflow issues that come with EGR
- Reduces the chances of derates, power drops, and constant warning lights
- More stable and predictable performance when the machine is working hard
- Less time and money spent dealing with emissions-related repairs
- Done remotely, so there’s no need to remove or ship out the ECU
