Description
Remote DPF/SCR delete reprogramming service for DD13, DD15, DD16 and DD17 (Not including industrial engines) engines is available remotely via TeamViewer. The entire reprogramming session is performed directly through your laptop connected to the truck, and the process typically takes no more than 30 minutes from start to finish. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on the results of our work. No more derate issues. To get started, select your preferred date and time for the remote appointment and provide any additional required truck information.
Important Notice
ATTENTION!
You will see an "ACM No Communication" code on DDDL in the CPC module only. This is completely normal and expected.
-
It does not trigger any check engine lights, derates, or warning messages on the dash
-
The DEF (AdBlue) gauge will read empty
WARNING:
If you reconnect the ACM after the delete has been performed, the truck will go into derate mode. You will need to have the delete service performed again.
DrunkLab LLC:
- Does not accept any returns due to legal incompatibility
- Is not responsible for any legal consequences
- Does not accept warranty claims if the ECU software has been updated by a dealer after tuning
Important legal notice:
- If the laws in your country prohibits this kind of programming, do not order this service.

Applicability
Detroit Diesel Series, model years 2021-2026. Suitable for trucks requiring delete of emission control systems (DPF/SCR).
When is the service needed?
If the cost of fixing your truck's emission systems is getting too expensive, this tuning service may be the solution. A derate, loss of power, poor fuel economy and costly downtime that keeps your truck off the road can be caused by a clogged DPF filter, a failing SCR system.
Our tuning service solves these problems by deleting DPF and SCR professionally through ECU software reprogramming. This helps eliminate some of the most common emissions related failures and lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emissions equipment. And if you'd rather get ahead of the problem before it starts — this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you never have to deal with the repair bills in the first place.
Once tuned, your truck can run without constant regeneration issues, SCR (DEF) system faults, repeated sensor failures or loss of performance from soot build-up and exhaust restrictions. This results in a more dependable truck with less downtime and less disruption.
Legal framework usage of this service
This is ECM tuning (adjustment) service. The result of this service is improvement the performance characteristics of customer’s equipment.
The service may require additional hardware and/or software tools on the Customer side. See “Equipment requirements” section for the details.
Terms and conditions are determined in the Public Offer Agreement. Full agreement text is located in the Agreement section of this website.
The ECM tuning may cause emission class change. Customer takes full responsibility of technical inspections and certification of his equipment regardless of his jurisdiction and local emissions regulations. DrunkLab LLC will not accept complaints due to certification incompatibilities.

Guides & Instructions
Tuning results
- No DPF/SCR/NOx — related fault codes
- No torque reduction
- No unrelated parameters will be changed
Required hardware changes after tuning
Failure to complete these steps may result in fault codes, reduced performance, or engine damage.
- Disconnect the ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module) or take out the fuse
- Physically remove the DPF (remove the filter entirely from the exhaust system)
Strongly recommended (for best reliability and performance):
- Bypass or completely remove the SCR cans
Warranty Terms and Conditions
This service is covered by the D3LW™ Program — DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.
Warranty cases are:
- DPF/SCR — related fault code appears during truck usage period (Except for the ACM communication fault code)
- DPF/SCR — related message is shown on the display
- Torque derate caused by DPF/SCR fault codes
Non — warranty cases are:
- ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than those stored into database during reprogramming)
- Software update campaign performed (OEM software detected)
- ACM connection after programming
- Copyright violation — tampering, cracking, or readout attempts detected (different fingerprint stored in the ECU)

Additional Information
It’s a custom software modification to the ECU that completely disables the main emissions systems — DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction with DEF/AdBlue). In simple terms, it removes the systems that cause the biggest headaches once these trucks start racking up miles.
This service is designed specifically for Detroit Diesel EPA 21 engines (model years 2021–2026) equipped with the full emissions package. It’s a remote ECU reprogramming that targets the most common reliability issues these modern engines develop over time.
On paper, DPF and SCR systems are meant to clean up emissions. In real-world operation, after a few years and higher mileage, they often become constant sources of trouble: the DPF clogs, the SCR system throws sensor and dosing faults, forced regens become more frequent, and you end up dealing with power derates and unplanned downtime.
After the DPF/SCR delete, the ECU no longer monitors or controls these systems. That means no more forced regenerations, no DEF warnings or fluid consumption, and no emissions-related power loss. The engine runs much simpler, cooler, and more reliably.
Most drivers feel the difference right away. The truck pulls stronger and more consistently, runs noticeably cooler, and doesn’t suddenly cut power for no reason. The main goal is restoring reliability and uptime.
Key Benefits:
- Eliminates DPF clogging and forced regeneration cycles
- Removes DEF system faults and dosing issues
- Prevents emissions-related derates and sudden power loss
- Makes the engine operation much simpler and more consistent
- Improves overall uptime and reliability
