Applicability
UD Trucks version 3, version 4 DPF/SCR/EGR delete solution through reprogramming.
When is the service needed?
If the cost of repairing your truck’s emission systems is getting too expensive, our remote tuning service may be the perfect solution.
Loss of power, poor fuel economy, and costly downtime are often caused by a clogged DPF filter, a malfunctioning SCR/DEF system, or a failing EGR system.
Our remote tuning service solves these problems by professionally deleting the DPF, SCR, and EGR systems through ECU software reprogramming. This eliminates some of the most common emissions-related failures and significantly lowers the ongoing maintenance costs associated with factory emission equipment.
And if you’d rather get ahead of the problem before it starts, this service is for you too. Proactively deleting these systems before they fail means you’ll never have to deal with those expensive repair bills in the first place. Once tuned, your truck will run without EGR-related faults, DPF restrictions, SCR system faults, or performance loss caused by soot buildup and exhaust blockage. The result is a more reliable truck, lower operating costs, and maximum uptime when your equipment is needed most.
Legal framework usage of this service
The service may require additional hardware and/or software tools on the Customer side. See “Equipment requirements” section for the details.
Terms and conditions are determined in the Public Offer Agreement. Full agreement text is located at the Agreement page of this website.

Guides & Instructions
Tuning results
- No DEF/AdBlue gauge stuck on empty level
- No SCR/DPF/EGR fault codes
- No torque reduction
- No warning lamps on the dashboard
- Minimal intervention into current ECU Calibration. We know what we do. No one unrelated parameter will be changed
- 3 or 4 SCR — related ECUs are reprogrammed together
Required hardware changes after tuning
ATTENTION!
After applying our DPF/SCR/EGR delete service:
- The EGR valve should be unplugged and the flow should be blocked
- ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module) and both NOx sensors must remain unplugged indefinitely! Plugging them back in will cause a “soot level high” message and immediate engine derate!
Exception: on trucks equipped with a transmission brake the ACM should remain connected but the Engine CAN wires (pins 1 and 5 in the ACM connector) must be cut off.
- The DPF must be removed physically
- We also strongly recommend bypassing the SCR cans or removing them
Warranty Terms and Conditions
This product is covered by D3LW™ program. D3LW is DrunkLab Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Warranty cases are resolved in priority order. The policy is “fix or return,” which means a full refund if it is impossible to fix the problem immediately.
Warranty cases are:
- Configuration errors
- ECM memory — related fault codes appear after flashing
- Aftertreatment system fault codes (not including instrument cluster reagent level code)
Non — warranty cases are:
- ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than stored into database during reprogramming)
- Software update campaign performed (different software detected)
- ACM connection after programming (for trucks not equipped with a retarder)
- Cracking/readout attempts detected (different fingerprint is stored into ECU)
Company advantages
- Fast tuning: With the Mochester App (M4 App), customers can order and apply tuning solutions without scheduling TeamViewer sessions.
- Safe and Controlled Tuning Workflow: The OTP-based confirmation system, the guided and approved connection, and the verified tuning process protect against the risks of incorrect programming and/or configuration
- Wide hardware compatibility: Works with the RP1210-compatible adapters including Nexiq, Noregon, DPA5, Inline 6, and Scanmatik
- Advanced 2014+ vehicle support: The Mochester App, combined with the VLOMINGO Tuning Adapter works with Volvo, Mack, Renault, UD, Prevost, Volvo CE, and Volvo Penta platforms, and also provides access to TRW EMS 2.3 and TRW EMS 2.4 ECUs

Additional Information
This is a remote ECU reprogramming service for UD Trucks Version 3 and Version 4 (2014+) that disables the SCR (AdBlue/DEF), DPF, and EGR systems in the engine software.
In plain terms, we reprogram the ECU so the engine no longer needs regeneration cycles, DEF dosing, or EGR feedback to run properly. Everything is handled through software tuning.
UD Trucks V3 and V4 models are well known for their strong build quality and solid fuel economy, which is why they’re widely used in logistics, distribution, and long-haul transport. But as mileage builds up, the SCR, DPF, and EGR systems often turn into a regular source of problems.
DPF filters slowly clog up and force frequent regeneration cycles that interrupt your day and kill productivity. The SCR system tends to throw DEF quality errors, dosing faults, or NOx sensor issues, while the EGR side builds up carbon deposits that restrict airflow and hurt combustion.
These issues can lead to warning lights, limp mode, derates, and unexpected power limitations — especially under heavy load or long-distance operation.
This service fixes the issue at the software level. We reflash the ECU so the engine stops relying on any of those emissions systems. Once done, regeneration cycles stop, DEF-related faults are removed, and EGR logic is completely taken out of the equation.
The result is a truck that runs more consistently day to day. Most operators notice smoother power delivery, fewer interruptions, and less time spent dealing with emissions codes.
The whole process is done remotely, so you don’t have to pull the ECU or take the truck to a workshop.
Key Benefits:
- Full SCR (AdBlue/DEF), DPF, and EGR delete for UD Trucks V3 / V4 (2014+)
- Eliminates forced DPF regeneration cycles and related downtime
- Removes most DEF system faults and NOx sensor errors
- Reduces carbon buildup and improves airflow
- Helps prevent derates, limp mode, and sudden power loss
- More stable and predictable performance under load
- Lower maintenance costs by removing emissions headaches
- Fully remote service — no ECU removal or shipping needed
